Under-The-Hill-Saloon is unique in several ways, but what stands out to a lot of customers is that it is just a few steps from the edge of the Mississippi River.

"Unk" has been working on the Mississippi Queen Steamboat for 6 years and he said, "There is nothing like Under The Hill Saloon". He went on to tell us that he has traveled far and wide in his job on the river and "no other boat landing is like the one in Natchez". "At other boat landings if anybody wants to walk from the landing to a local establishment, the walk is long, sometimes as much as 3-4 city blocks."
